Message from Kim Robertson September 11, 2018

To Alma and family,
My condolences on the passing of Murry.
I hold a soft spot in my heart for 'Mr. Murray', after caring for him at the RSJ on and off for several years. Although he could occasionally let loose an 'Aww, shut up' , (or sometimes worse), he seemed genuinely happy when I'd greet him or help him eat; and obliging when it was time for his medication or eye drops. He was a quiet man with a calm demeanor, but had a little spark of mischief in his eye. I remember one evening, several years ago, when one of the PABs passed with her flashlight to make sure everyone was safely in bed. When she came to Murry's room, he wasn't in bed, but instead had somehow made it into his wheelchair that was parked inside the door. I guess he scared her half to death, and according to her, he seemed quite pleased with himself, with a big grin on his face, when she nearly leaped out of her skin in the darkened room.
He will be fondly remembered by many.

God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Thus, no one better than him, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. (Psalm 34:18; John 5:28, 29)  May you get the strength and inner peace you need in the coming days. With all my sympathy for the loss of beloved Murray.
