January 05, 1929 – January 29, 2020 - 91 years old
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Elton Hayes at the age of 91 years.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Gloria Duguay;
his 6 children: Wendy (Darrell), Barry (Sandy), Glenn, Michael, Kelly (Curtis), Jonathan (Madelaine);
his 10 grandchildren: Kyle, Ashley, Courtney, Jasmine, Daniel, Sophie, Kira, Eric, Spirit and Davis;
his great-grandchild Jack;
also many nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Shigawake.
Visiting hours will be from 1 pm to 2 pm with funeral service starting at 2p.m.

Donations can be made in memory of Elton Hayes to the Hayes Bursary fund or to the Linda Lemore Brown Cancer foundation.

The Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home has been entrusted with organizing the above mentioned services.

Our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Hayes and her family. Mr. Elton was my father's best friend. My father always said that Mr. Elton was a man of confidence, a valiant man and he appreciated him very much. My father liked and respected the anglophone people. The last time, we met Mr. Elton, he was walking on his land at Rang 6 in Shigawake. He told us that he was missing his friend Amédée. For my family, he was a real gentleman. May he rest in peace.
