It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen (Nellie) Starnes at the age of 91 years. She passed away peacefully at her home in New Carlisle.
Predeceased by her husband John Arnold Main, parents Alfred Starnes and Nina Smith.
Children: Ralph, Gladys, Shirley, Amos, John, Michael, Nora-Frances. Granddaughter Vanessa, and great-grandchildren Jordan and Reyanna.
Sister Gladys and brothers: Andrew, Alfred, James and Phil.
She leaves behind her beloved children: Frances (Albert), Ila, Doran (Crystal), Dean (Olive), Ada (Antoine), Alfred (Shelley);
her grandchildren: Gladys, Shirley, Arnold, Nora, Laura, Jessica, Ralph. Steven, Rebecca, Andrew, Daniel, Ellen, Nora-Lee,
Nakita, Quentin, Amanda, Hunter, Delaney, Candace;
her great-grandchildren: Vanessa, Marissa, Tamisha, Keysha, Ethen, Chase, Bryan, Summer, Danika, Chance, Maliah,
Jaxon, Quinten, Deshown, Adrian, Xavier, Sofia, Zachary, Riley, Blaze, Julia, Isabella, Jayden, Julyssa, also nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.
Visitations will be held at the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home, 197 Gerard D Levesque, New Carlisle on Thursday, November 25, 2021.
Visiting hours will be from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Saint Andrew's Anglican Church
in New Carlisle at 2 P.M.
Please be advised that the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at 12. Interment will follow at By the Sea Cemetery.
Donations can be made in memory of Ellen Starnes to an organization of your choice.
Professional services were entrusted to Salon Funéraire Henri Thibodeau inc, a subsidiary of H.G. Division.
