Annette Hickey-Miller
September 04, 1946 – June 25, 2024 - 77 years old
Annette Hickey, born September 4, 1946, peacefully passed away on June 25th, 2024, in Gaspé. She was predeceased by her loving husbands Calvin Miller and Ross Alexander, as well as her father Henry and mother Evangeline Carrier, her twin brothers Roy and Guy, infant sister Marie and nephew Glenn. Annette leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness.



Annette was a long-time resident of Murdochville, where she dedicated many years of service as a janitor at Mines Gaspé. Annette later found solace and joy at her cabin at Little Fork, where she lived and spent countless happy hours surrounded by nature.

She is survived by her brothers Alphonse (Anne) and Robert (Tammy), her sister Henrietta, sister-in-law Stella Grant, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember her warmth and kindness.



Annette Hickey will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.



A private graveside burial will take place in Murdochville, where she will be laid to rest with her father.

Professional services have been entrusted to the Funeral Home Valère Fortin of Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.

The little time that I spent with Annette working for her was an eye opening experience. She was a while wonderful woman to ave met. I will miss her and our weekly chats along with our many jokes and laughs.
