It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John (Jack) Harold Day, on October 10, 2019, at the age of 88 years and 6 months.
He leaves behind his sons, Harold and Rodney (Susanne) his granddaughter Jamielee and great granddaughter Elara.
His sisters: Annie, Betty (Art), Carol (Peter), Joy and Thelma.
His brothers: Bruce, Buddy (Catherine), Donnie, Jimmy, Ken, Lonnie (Shirley) and Sonny.
His stepdaughters: Sandra and Shirley (Rejean)
Also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews
He is predeceased by his wife, Emelia (Jenny) Gallan, his parents, Bertha Astles and Clyde Day, his sons: Randy, Ricky and Steven, his grandson Jeffrey, his sisters Linda and Judy, and brothers-in-law Harvey and Roger.
Visitation will be held at the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home located at 197 Gerard D. Levesque, New Carlisle. Visiting hours will be from 7 – 9 p.m. on October 17, 2019 with funeral service at the New Carlisle Bible Chapel in New Carlisle at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019.
Interment will take place at the Bayside Cemetery.
Please be advised that on the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at 1 p.m.
Donations can be made in memory of Mr. John Day to the New Carlisle Bible Chapel.
