It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Ramier on May 28, 2022 at Maria Hospital. He passed peacefully with his beloved Kathy at his side.
He was predeceased by his parents Goldie Ramier and Jean Smith, brothers George and Leslie and friend Lila Slauenwhite.
Raymond will remain in the hearts of Kathy Hayes, daughter Ruby (Elvis) Kruse and grandson Brandon, nieces and nephews and by his step-mom Celia Smith and family.
He will be deeply missed by Mathew (Emily), Oceana, and Khy Roussy.
He will be sadly missed by Kathy’s dad Willie, daughter Dayna (Steve), son Drew (Ally) and cherished grandchildren and extended family.
Raymond will be remembered for his quick wit, many pranks, his love of animals and his kind and generous heart. He was a hard-working fisherman and farmer and enjoyed the simple things in life. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him, especially his many close friends he enjoyed spending time with.
We would like to thank Dr. Simon Provost for his true compassion and dedication to Raymond and his family. Thanks also to the amazing oncology doctors, nurses and staff.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If you choose, donations may be made at that time to Dr. Provost's efforts for a cancer home (details to follow).
Professional services have been entrusted to the Rejean Belanger Funeral Home Inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the corporation des thanatologues du Quebec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Quebec
