It is with immense sadness that we share the death of our dear daughter Leah who passed away peacefully at Maria hospital surrounded by her family at the age of 49 years and 8 months. She is survived by her parents Henry and Stella (nee Lemieux) and her cherished brother Patrick (Heidi), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Listening to country music was one of Leah’s greatest passions whether it was CD’s, music videos, going to concerts or tuning in to live music streams on her tablet. Aside from her love for her 4-legged companions she also enjoyed listening to Curling and you could bet that at 2 p.m. her television was tuned to General Hospital.
From her sparkling blue eyes to her beautiful smile Leah left a lasting impact on all who were lucky enough to meet her. Among many things, she will be remembered for her remarkable ability to remember everything from dates, phone numbers and directions to keeping us all on track for our meetings and appointments.
We will carry you in our hearts until we can hold you in our arms.
The celebration of Leah’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Maria Hospital Foundation (Fondation Santé Baie-des-Chaleurs) or Chandler Hospital Foundation (Fondation de l’Hopital de Chandler Inc.).
Professional services have been entrusted to the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation of du Thanatologues du Quebec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Quebec.
The management and staff of HG Division offer their deepest condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.
