It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Claudette Beauchemin MacWhirter, which occurred at the St. Joseph Residence in Maria on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the age of 87 years old.
Claudette was predeceased by her father William Beauchemin, mother Bessy Ranson, husband Scott and her two sons Jim and John.
Nana is lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary (Steve), granddaughter Shiloh, and grandsons, Scott (Danielle), Tom (Allison), Tyler (Jennifer), Jason (Alexandra).
She loved to hear stories about her cherished great grandkids: Quinton, Danica, Mattea, Kennedy, Colton, and Jaxon.
She leaves behind her sister Louise and brother Rene to mourn her loss.
Claudette loved to visit family and friends and earned the nickname Roadrunner as she spent many hours walking to visit everyone. But don't call her, as she hated to talk on the phone.
A very special thank you to Johanne Barter for her love and dedication to mom. You were like another daughter to her.
Claudette has now gone to join the love of her life Scottie for eternal happiness.
