With great sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Olive Helen Andrews (87), wife of the late Frederick Lewis Andrew Smollett and daughter of the late Grace Fequet and the late Harry Andrews on November 8, 2025 at the Centre Hebergement.
She is survived by her children, Lori (late Kevin Morishita), Frederick (Helen), and Dawn (Dany). Her beloved grandchildren Kiyoshi, Andrew (Jenai), Luke, Christian (Caroline), Sarah (Alex), great-grandchildren Thomas, Stella-Rose, and James.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Centre Herbergement of New Carlisle for the excellent care she received and also to Dr. Basque.
Family will receive condolences on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home, New Carlisle. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church at 11 a.m. followed by the interment at the Presbyterian Cemetery.
Please take note that there is no visitation on the day of the funeral.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home Inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.

Dear Olive was a mentor and friend. She was a dynamic member of the community spearheading our first "Homecoming" in 2000. She was also involved in the IODE, Loyalist Days, served on the SPEC board for many years etc. She was one classy lady.
