At St-Joseph Residence of Maria, on July 23, 2023, at the age of 89, passed away Mrs. Délia Cormier. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Cormier and the late Jeanne Leblanc. She left to join the man of her life, Jean-Marcel Arsenault and her daughter, Isabelle.
Mrs. Cormier is survived by:
her children: Jovette (Raynald Martin), Gaétan, Jeanne (Dominic Bujold) and David;
her grandchildren: Daniel, Darah, Pierre-Carl and Jean-Félix:
her sister-in-law: Germaine Bastarache;
her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Arsenault family:
many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She left to join her siblings: Honoré (Joyce Légère), Eugénie (Zoel Bourgeois), Alcide (Janice Costa), Laurette (Donald Brun), Florine (Aimé Arseneault) and Normand.
The family will receive condolences at Bonaventure Church on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. at Bonaventure Church. Thereafter, she will be taken to her final resting place in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the staff of Maria's CHSLD for their compassion as well as the health professionals who provided her care, the staff of the Villa des Caps Noirs who accompanied her for a few years, not to mention the warm support of the Cormier and Arsenault families.
Professional services have been entrusted to Salon Funéraire Henri Thibodeau inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec and the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
