Patricia Adams

Patricia Adams

February 19, 1953 - March 2, 2025

Born in Gaspe on February 19th, 1953; Patricia was an inspiration to many. Through kindness, grace and finding
joy in God's gifts, Pat lived her life seeing the best in others and helping them anyway she could.

A career teacher and a life-long student, Pat's chosen occupation was her passion and vocation in this life.
Evident in her endeavours of teaching English, weaving, dog training, horsemanship, farrier skills and animal
homeopathy. A teacher and trainer in the truest sense Pat delighted in working with animals and people,
loving to see both grow to their potential.

She showed all who got close that hard work, works and that life is found in the simple things. The
tranquility of the ocean, a cool sea breeze, sunsets over the St. Marjorique hills and starry nights over a
pasture, »...we are living in a postcard » she said often.

With this in mind she sought to leave all places she visited or inhabited natural, and better from her
presence for the next generation.

Pat is survived by her son William (Sarah), her daughter Sheena (Steven), her four grandchildren
Brynley, Holden, Quinten and Adrian and her sisters Linda Delisle-Smith and Elizabeth Adams.

Remember Pat with joy, the laughter and the good times.

A funeral and celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, July 19, 2025 at St. Majorique Church,
(37 rue Fontenelle, Gaspe Qc).

» When the dreams you're dreamin come to you
When the work you put in is realized
Let yourself feel the pride but
Always stay humble and kind »

Mes sympathies à toute la famille. J'ai eu la chance de l'avoir comme enseignante et elle m'a toujours été de bons conseils pour notre passion commune, les animaux.

Une douce pensée pour vous,

I am deeply sorry to hear about your loss. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the privilege of working with Patricia at the adult education center. She was an inspiration, and I learned so much from her that I still carry with me in my teaching today. I’ll always cherish the mornings we spent chatting about grammar and sharing ideas. There are not many people who get excited about the past perfect tense. Her wisdom, warmth, and passion for teaching made a lasting impact, and I’m grateful to have had her as a mentor.
My thoughts are with all the family at this difficult time.

To William, Sheena, Linda and Liz, my deepest sympathy. I will cherish warm memories of Pat. The many interesting conversations over the years. She always ended them with a something to think about and a little laugh. I always loved the way she would answer « well » when I asked her questions and then we would get into a conversation that could last several minutes. May she rest in peace🕊️

My deepest sympathy to Pats children , grandchildren, and sister! I went to Pte. Navarre High School with Pat, but, never had the chance to meet her after that. I did know that she had a great love for animals cause she had horses down in D’twn.
May you R.I.P., Pat!
