In loving memory of Delphine Paul
With heavy hearts, the family of Delphine Paul, beloved girlfriend of Lyman Larocque, announces her peaceful passing. Delphine was a devoted mother to Reggie, Preston, Trina, Felicia (Trevor), and Benjamin Larocque (Leanne), and a cherished grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Predeceased parents Jackie Paul & Irene Ward (Brothers: Preston, Junior, Rubin ) Delphine lived her life with a free spirit and an open heart.
She was always ready for the next adventure—whether it was a long road trip to Los Angeles or a quick drive to Eel Ground to visit the family she held so dear. Her love for the open road was matched only by her love for the people in her life. Along the banks of the Grand Cascapedia River, Delphine found a second home. As a respected guide, she shared her knowledge, her laughter, and her warmth with countless anglers who adored her. The river will forever carry her memory in its steady, gentle flow. Known for her generosity, Delphine was the first to show up whenever someone needed a hand. No task was too big, no person too small. Her kindness was instinctive, her compassion unwavering. And no snowstorm—no matter how fierce—could keep her from her Thursday night bingo. She was always in her spot, surrounded by friends, laughter, and the familiar rhythm of a game she loved. Delphine leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joyful spontaneity. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, her community, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. May her spirit continue to guide us, just as she guided so many along the river she loved. Special thanks to the nurses for their compassionate care and support, not only to Delphine but to the family as well.
